FINANCEMASTER is a finance tracker for freelancers and small business owners. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. In short: your financial data lives in your own Google Sheet, not on our servers.
What we collect
- Google account basics: your name, email address and profile photo, used to sign you in and show your profile.
- Google access token: a token that lets the app open the FINANCEMASTER sheet it created for you. It is stored encrypted and is never shown to anyone.
- App settings: your currency, project names, the ID of your FINANCEMASTER sheet, when you joined and when you were last active.
Your financial data
Transactions, balances, due dates and notes are written to a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive. We do not copy them into our database. You can open, edit, download or delete that sheet at any time in Google Drive.
Google permissions we use
We request only openid, email, profile and drive.file. The drive.file permission lets the app create and use only the files it creates for you; it cannot see any other files in your Drive.
FINANCEMASTER's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not let humans read it except with your permission, for security, or as required by law.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your data. It is processed only by the services that run the app: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database for account settings) and Google (sign-in and your sheet).
Security
Connections use HTTPS, access tokens are encrypted at rest, and each account can only reach its own sheet.
Deleting your data
Use Profile → Delete my account to remove your account and revoke the app's Google access. You can also remove access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Your Google Sheet stays in your Drive until you delete it.
